Whoever wins takes the other players' cards and sorts them, along with their own card, to the bottom of their stack. The winner is whoever ends up holding all the cards. Once a player has only three cards left in hand, they no longer have to play the top card but may choose any card instead. If two values are equal, a tie-breaker round follows. To do so, however, they must already own at least one card from that quartet, i.e. 2A, 2B, or 2C. If the person asked has the requested card, they must hand it over. In this case, the first person takes another turn, continuing until they ask for a card that the person asked does not have. Play then continues clockwise. Whoever holds a complete quartet lays it face up on the table in front of them.
