Alpe d'Huez is a winter sports resort in the French Alps, internationally known as a mountain finish in the Tour de France. Alpe d'Huez - these are probably the 21 most famous switchbacks in the world. The winding ascent to the French winter sports resort is also called the "Woodstock of cycling". When the Tour de France stops here, hundreds of thousands make a pilgrimage to the edge of the route and have a big party.
