Hochtor is the highest mountain in the Ennstal Alps in Styria. From the banks of the Enns on the edge of the Gesäuse National Park, the Hochtor towers almost like a Dolomite peak. All those who want to climb the 900 meter north-west face to the summit should have good climbing skills. Even the normal route from the Johnsbachtal in the south is not very easy and requires a head for heights and climbing skills.
