Mont Fort is a three-thousander in the Pennine Alps, rising south of Nendaz in Valais. The mountain is surrounded by three glaciers. The Glacier de Tortin west of the summit is part of 4 Vallées, Switzerland's largest ski resort. Mont Fort can be easily accessed via cable car from Nendaz or Verbier. The mountain top offers some spectacular views of the peaks of the Monte Rosa and Mont Blanc massifs.
