Monte Stivo

In the northeast of Lake Garda Monte Stivo rises between the two valleys Valle dei Laghi in the west and Vallagarina in the east. The summit offers a great view of the northern part of the lake and, among others, the summits of Marmolada, Adamello group, Presanella, and Sella group. Just about 40 meters below the summit is the mountain hut Rifugio Stivo Prospero Marchetti, which is operated by the alpine club Società degli Alpinisti Tridentini (SAT).
