Between Splügenpass and Chur rises the Piz Beverin in the eastern Adula Alps. The relatively detached peak offers an excellent view. In addition to hiking trails, climbing routes of varying difficulty lead up to Piz Beverin. Moreover, the mountain is a popular destination for ski tours. The Beverin Nature Park is located around the mountain. Besides the heraldic animal of Grisons, the ibex, there is also a wolf pack living here.
