Piz Muraun

The Piz Muraun is situated in the south of the Swiss town Disentis/Mustér. Opposite of the summit in the north the Piz Ault and Oberalpstock dominate the view. In the south the Piz Medel rises about 300 meters higher. Reaching the summit of Piz Muraun does not require any technical climbing. Yet is is a challenging hike. For the less sportive a ride on the Glacier Express to Disentis can be recommended, which offers some spectacular views of the mountain.
