Antelao

Antelao

While the Marmolada is regarded as the queen of the Dolomites, Antelao is their king. Unusually for this mountain group, the peak rises majestically as a free-standing rock pyramid to the south-east of Cortina d'Ampezzo. Together with Monte Pelmo to the west, the second-highest summit of the Dolomites forms a gigantic gateway into the Val di Cadore.

How are our prints made?

We have been drawing mountains since 2015.
Every print is illustrated by hand, and we write and check the texts ourselves.

In the illustrations, we pay attention to perspective and to landmarks that stand for a place, making it easy to recognise. For Alpine passes, we show tunnels or sights along the route, such as the Courchevel altiport at the Col de la Loze.

It is important to us that the texts convey the information and the atmosphere of a route accurately. We use AI for preliminary research, error checking and translation. People carry out the essential steps.
