Etna

Etna

Etna is the highest mountain on Sicily and the highest active volcano in Europe outside the Caucasus. It is on the UN list of Decade Volcanoes, as well as a UNESCO world heritage site. Even though the Etna is in an almost constant state of volcanic activity thousand of tourists visit the mountain each year. There are also two ski resorts on its slopes.

How are our prints made?

We have been drawing mountains since 2015.
Every print is illustrated by hand, and we write and check the texts ourselves.

In the illustrations, we pay attention to perspective and to landmarks that stand for a place, making it easy to recognise. For Alpine passes, we show tunnels or sights along the route, such as the Courchevel altiport at the Col de la Loze.

It is important to us that the texts convey the information and the atmosphere of a route accurately. We use AI for preliminary research, error checking and translation. People carry out the essential steps.
