Mount Columbia is the highest mountain of Alberta and the second highest summit of the Canadian Rockies. It lies on the border between Alberta and British Columbia, with the peak being in Alberta, though. The Columbia Icefield, south of the summit, made up of eight major glaciers lies on the continental divide. From there rivers flow into the Arctic Ocean, into the Hudson Bay and into the Pacific Ocean.

How are our prints made?

We have been drawing mountains since 2015.
Every print is illustrated by hand, and we write and check the texts ourselves.

In the illustrations, we pay attention to perspective and to landmarks that stand for a place, making it easy to recognise. For Alpine passes, we show tunnels or sights along the route, such as the Courchevel altiport at the Col de la Loze.

It is important to us that the texts convey the information and the atmosphere of a route accurately. We use AI for preliminary research, error checking and translation. People carry out the essential steps.
