Olperer

Olperer

At 3476 metres, the Olperer is the third-highest summit of the Zillertal Alps in Tyrol and the highest point of the Tux ridge. Seen from the east, the peak appears as an almost perfect rock pyramid. The ascent by the normal route from the south-east can be managed with easy climbing sections. More demanding is the way from the Geraer Hütte over the Olpererferner, the Wildlahnerscharte and finally the mountain’s north ridge.

How are our prints made?

We have been drawing mountains since 2015.
Every print is illustrated by hand, and we write and check the texts ourselves.

In the illustrations, we pay attention to perspective and to landmarks that stand for a place, making it easy to recognise. For Alpine passes, we show tunnels or sights along the route, such as the Courchevel altiport at the Col de la Loze.

It is important to us that the texts convey the information and the atmosphere of a route accurately. We use AI for preliminary research, error checking and translation. People carry out the essential steps.
