Piz Muraun

Piz Muraun

The Piz Muraun rises on the southern side of the Grisons municipality of Disentis/Mustér. Opposite the summit, to the north, lie the Piz Ault and the Oberalpstock; to the south rises the Piz Medel, a good 300 metres higher. Although the climb to the summit of the Piz Muraun can be managed without any real climbing sections, it is still a demanding walking route. For the less athletic, a ride on the famous Glacier Express to Disentis is recommended, offering a spectacular view of the mountain.

How are our prints made?

We have been drawing mountains since 2015.
Every print is illustrated by hand, and we write and check the texts ourselves.

In the illustrations, we pay attention to perspective and to landmarks that stand for a place, making it easy to recognise. For Alpine passes, we show tunnels or sights along the route, such as the Courchevel altiport at the Col de la Loze.

It is important to us that the texts convey the information and the atmosphere of a route accurately. We use AI for preliminary research, error checking and translation. People carry out the essential steps.
