Sassongher

Sassongher

The Sassongher rises some 1000 metres as a mighty rock tower above the southern Val Badia and the village of Corvara. The striking mountain is part of the Puez-Odle Nature Park, in whose south-east it lies. Reaching the summit of the Sassongher is reserved for experienced climbers. The effort is rewarded with an impressive view from the top: the mountain is known for its splendid panoramas of other Dolomite peaks, from the Fanes group and the Sella massif to the Marmolada.

How are our prints made?

We have been drawing mountains since 2015.
Every print is illustrated by hand, and we write and check the texts ourselves.

In the illustrations, we pay attention to perspective and to landmarks that stand for a place, making it easy to recognise. For Alpine passes, we show tunnels or sights along the route, such as the Courchevel altiport at the Col de la Loze.

It is important to us that the texts convey the information and the atmosphere of a route accurately. We use AI for preliminary research, error checking and translation. People carry out the essential steps.
