Weißseespitze

Weißseespitze

The Weißseespitze is a mountain in the Weißkamm of the Ötztal Alps on the border between Tyrol and South Tyrol. It lies east of Lake Reschen at the end of the Langtaufers valley (Italian: Vallelunga). The border between Austria and Italy runs across the summit. In Italian the mountain is known as ‘Cima del Lago Bianco’ – a literal translation of the German name.

How are our prints made?

We have been drawing mountains since 2015.
Every print is illustrated by hand, and we write and check the texts ourselves.

In the illustrations, we pay attention to perspective and to landmarks that stand for a place, making it easy to recognise. For Alpine passes, we show tunnels or sights along the route, such as the Courchevel altiport at the Col de la Loze.

It is important to us that the texts convey the information and the atmosphere of a route accurately. We use AI for preliminary research, error checking and translation. People carry out the essential steps.
