Toubkal is the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains. It is also the high point of Morocco and in the entire Arab world. Since Toubkal can be climbed fairly easy it is a popular destination for mountaineers who want to experience and acclimatize in heights above 4000 meters. On clear days the view from the summit offers a great panorama of southern Morocco and goes as far as the Sahara desert.
