Der Galdhøpiggen ist der höchste Gipfel von Norwegen sowie der höchste Berg von ganz Skandinavien. Dies macht ihn zu einem äußerst populären Ziel für Kletterer. Drei größere Gletscher bedecken die Nord-, West- und Südseite des Gipfels. Entsprechend ist die Aufstiegsroute von Osten aus die einfachste, bei der man ohne technisches Klettern auskommt. Lange Zeit galt der nur wenige Kilomter östlich gelegene Glittertind als der höhere der beiden Berge. Durch das Abschmelzen der Gletscher am Gipfel des Glittertinds verlor dieser jedoch so stark an Höhe, dass er nun nur noch der zweithöchste Berg Norwegens ist.

How are our prints made?

We have been drawing mountains since 2015.
Every print is illustrated by hand, and we write and check the texts ourselves.

In the illustrations, we pay attention to perspective and to landmarks that stand for a place, making it easy to recognise. For Alpine passes, we show tunnels or sights along the route, such as the Courchevel altiport at the Col de la Loze.

It is important to us that the texts convey the information and the atmosphere of a route accurately. We use AI for preliminary research, error checking and translation. People carry out the essential steps.
