Mount Gould, in the Glacier National Park, Montana, is the highest mountain of the Garden Wall. While not being particularly noticeable, seen from the west, the view from the east is very impressive, where the mountain rises up about 4000 (ca. 1200 m) feet over Grinnell Lake and Lake Josephine. Accordingly the normal route to the summit starts on the west side. It was also used during the first recorded ascent, made in 1920.
