Zuckerhütl

Zuckerhütl

The Zuckerhütl on the border with South Tyrol is one of the most characteristic mountains in the Alps. Its northern side is covered by the mighty Sulzenauferner glacier, while to the south it drops away steeply for hundreds of metres. In good weather you can see as far as the Ortler from its summit, and enjoy the pistes of the Stubai valley on its slopes.

How are our prints made?

We have been drawing mountains since 2015.
Every print is illustrated by hand, and we write and check the texts ourselves.

In the illustrations, we pay attention to perspective and to landmarks that stand for a place, making it easy to recognise. For Alpine passes, we show tunnels or sights along the route, such as the Courchevel altiport at the Col de la Loze.

It is important to us that the texts convey the information and the atmosphere of a route accurately. We use AI for preliminary research, error checking and translation. People carry out the essential steps.
