Hirschberg

Hirschberg

South of the Tegernsee rises the Hirschberg, with its main summit in the west and a fore-summit about 15 metres lower in the east. Despite its comparatively modest height, the mountain is visible from far to the north and greets the inhabitants of the Bavarian Alpine foreland. The summit can be reached on various walking paths and offers an excellent view that in good weather stretches from the Roßstein across the Zugspitze to the Großglockner.

How are our prints made?

We have been drawing mountains since 2015.
Every print is illustrated by hand, and we write and check the texts ourselves.

In the illustrations, we pay attention to perspective and to landmarks that stand for a place, making it easy to recognise. For Alpine passes, we show tunnels or sights along the route, such as the Courchevel altiport at the Col de la Loze.

It is important to us that the texts convey the information and the atmosphere of a route accurately. We use AI for preliminary research, error checking and translation. People carry out the essential steps.
