Serles

Serles

The 2717-metre Serles lies in the Stubai Alps in Tyrol. Thanks to its dominant position, the main summit and the two subsidiary peaks are clearly visible from Innsbruck in clear conditions. According to legend, the main summit, the "Serles giant", is a king turned to stone by God as punishment for his cruelty.

How are our prints made?

We have been drawing mountains since 2015.
Every print is illustrated by hand, and we write and check the texts ourselves.

In the illustrations, we pay attention to perspective and to landmarks that stand for a place, making it easy to recognise. For Alpine passes, we show tunnels or sights along the route, such as the Courchevel altiport at the Col de la Loze.

It is important to us that the texts convey the information and the atmosphere of a route accurately. We use AI for preliminary research, error checking and translation. People carry out the essential steps.
