The backbone of our map consists of contour lines at intervals of 200 meters. Thus, the map looks vivid and nicely illustrates the topography of the Alps. In addition to the borders of the nine Austrian states, the map displays the most important roads and rivers, as well as cities and mountains as reference points.
This style is based on our map “Mapping Out the Alps”.
The altitude profile consists of different shades of grey, which allows for own markings to be easily visible.
16 of Austria's most characteristic mountains, which we also offer as poster prints are illustrated on the map:
Bischofsmütze,
Grimming,
Großes Wiesbachhorn,
Grossglockner,
Hochkönig,
Hochvogel,
Hoher Dachstein,
Kitzsteinhorn,
Piz Buin,
Schneeberg,
Serles,
Spitzkofel,
Traunstein,
Wilder Kaiser,
Wildspitze,
Zuckerhütl.
Our matching Marmota sticker set lets you mark your own special experiences.
The light map colors leave room to draw in your own marks.
