The summits of the Grandes Jorasses are part of the Mont Blanc massif on the French-Italian border. The highgest peak is Pointe Walker. Besides Eiger and Matterhorn, the Grandes Jorasses' north face is known as one of the greatest challenges for climbers in the Alps.
