Pizzo di Gino is the highest peak of the Lugano Prealps in Lombardy and is considered the border mountain between the Prealps and the High Alps. The mountain peak resembles a flat, three-sided pyramid of rock. The Cuccio torrent rises on the slopes of the mountain. To the northwest of Pizzo di Gino lies the mountain valley of Valle Albano.
