Kreuzjoch is the highest mountain of the Kitzbühel Alps and at the same time its south western corner pillar. To the west it is bounded by the Ziller Valley, to the south east by the Gerlos Valley. The peak is easy to climb. Starting in Gerlos, as well as in Zell am Ziller, mountain railways go up the mountain, but not quite up until the peak.
