Monte Baldo forms a 30 Kilometer long mountain ridge rising above the west shore of Lake Garda and sloping towards Val d'Adige in the east. It reaches its maximum elevation of 2218 m with the Cima Valdritta. The routes are well developed and therefore the mountain is easy to ascend. The peak of Monte Baldo jutted out of the glaciers during the ice ages. This way here a flora that no longer exists anywhere else was preserved here.
