Monte Baldo forms a 30 Kilometer long mountain ridge rising above the eastern shore of Lake Garda and sloping towards Val d'Adige on the opposite side. It reaches its maximum elevation of 2218 m with the Cima Valdritta. The routes are well developed and therefore the mountain is easy to ascend. The peak of Monte Baldo jutted out of the glaciers during the ice ages. Thus a truely unique flora could develop around the mountain.
