Linker Fernerkogel

Rechter and Linker Fernerkogel (Right and Left Fernerkogel) are two peaks in the north east of Wildspitze. Mittelbergferner is situated between both of them. Linker Fernerkogel is a popular tourist destination, in summer as well as in winter. The normal route goes from the north of Braunschweiger Hütte to the summit. The area is often used for training in glacier mountaineering.
